Teachers!

Bring UCR into your classroom!

Part of Down to Earth's aims is to enrich Riverside Unified School District's K-12 science education. To bring UCR's science department to you, the teachers, we have created the GeoScience Outreach Education Program (GEOP). Through GEOP, UCR graduate and undergraduates learning about Climate Change come to your classroom and give presentations on several exciting aspects of Climate Change Science.

We offer lessons on:
  • Earthquakes
  • Volcanoes
  • Fossils
  • Rocks and Minerals
  • Climate Change

Visit the GEOP Homepage for more detailed information on each topic!
